The biggest problem will be that fuel is tied to FC credits - Crows Drop costs quite a bit at the level you need to get Balsamic clay.

So, if they are available at a personal level, fuel tanks would need to be added to the GC vendor, and it's going to cost roughly about 60,000 to 80,000 GC seals per sub per trip. Yeah, this is the upper limit, and it's going to be a close to a year before you rank high enough to do that, but that many GC seals a day is a lot of GC seals for a solo player.

However, if you want to do it OP, nothing at all is stopping you making your own FC, leveling it to rank 6, buying a house, and doing it. Just be prepared to put in a lot of learning and a large chunk of solo crafting/dungeon hand-ins to buy fuel.

Well, the lack of houses to buy is stopping people from buying said house and preventing them partaking in the system.

Which is why it shouldn't be linked to houses.

Fuel costs can be adjusted with any new implementation. With respect to time I don't think that should necessarily change for those wanting to do the content should have to work for it.

I don't think it should. Why should something that sells for 1 or 2 million gil be earnable with a few hundred GC seals?
