I can see why people would want this, but I'd hard disagree.

For a start it would kill the value of anything from airships, because the supply would be flooded. That in turn means no point in airships, because you could just buy almost everything for peanuts. I don't feel that every ingame item should be available on a plate for everyone in the game just because they want it. They've already destroyed the value of almost every minion from StB and HW due to those GC lootboxes to the point where they might as well just add them to everyone's collection on log in.
This would also force SE to remove all the raw gil from salvaged items, which is a punishment to legitimate FC's who use them for funds.

I do agree single player or extremely small FC's and bots should be cracked down on.

I also think players really need to stop rewarding bad FC leaders who use the submarine fleet and FC chest as their own personal income. Too many players join these bad FC's with the reason "I'm just here for FC buffs, whatever" and enable greedy leaders to get away with this. Decent well-run FC's have buffs too and lots of other benefits on top.
My own FC gives every bit of gil from our subs and garden back to the members. Events with big prizes, free raid food, raid pots, materia, thavnarian onions, krakka, dyes, minions and so on. It baffles me that people willingly fuel one players greed when so many great FC's exist out there.

It is SE's choice,

If you cut a content from your game or lock it behind impossible barrier (aka housing lottery) it is your choice, it will result with less content.
I am fine with it. Other games can provide what you cant. It is called competition and it is a good thing.

I can make a stronghold in Lost Ark and call it my FFXIV home no big deal :3

Yes please, so annoying not having access to some materials without wasting gils on the market board. I prefer getting my material myself most of the time unless i'm in a lazy phase.

I hear my friends talk about not wasting gil and they have it in the tens of millions. You could legit farm all the gil you ever need for these items before they get around to even considering a move like this. If you can afford a house for a workshop, you can afford these items easily.
