Frustrating relative lack of LGBT NPCs in this game

I still don't get this. Sorry I am all for LGBTQ representation, but if a game has little to no same sex representation...ie no relationships pretty much at all....why do we need blatantly LGBTQ characters. There are many characters that could go either way from my stance, and a whole bunch of gender role breaking. I don't see the need for any labels in this game. Keep them all fluid.

1. Death Drop, Tongue Pop and Limp Wrist Flick Emotes (not in the mogstation)
2. Pride Festival Event in June with proceeds going to GLAAD or regional equivalent.
3. Male Roe and Male Hrothgar must get more sets of EXCLUSIVE Revealing outfits.
4. Sissy That Walk must be used in the next marketing campaign.
5. Cid and Nero must be retconned into being husky wartorn lovers who can never truly be together.

Not to be rude, but this absolutely reads as one of those things that those super sweaty kind of guys insinuate when a woman happens to be nice to them and then next thing you know he's telling her how he's in love with her and how they're meant to be all because she smiled at him and now he took that to mean an automatic offer to be his gf and subsequent wife for the rest of his live with absolutely 0 regard for who she actually is or anything she's actually said. Now I'm not saying you're delusional, I'm just saying at no point was anything in the story anywhere near pornographic. Not even a tiny bit. Not even a little. There is no sexual tension between any characters in XIV. Like black and white, there just isnt. Now, when I'm feeling in a particular mood? Oh yes, they're totally in love with each other and also me in my mind. Ok? I'm not queueing into the newest alliance because I love running content that much, no I'm queueing because I want to see my two new boyfriends at the end of it who absolutely are in love with me too and the tension between us is insane. Now. Does that make it reality though? No. That just tells you I'm extremely thirsty. and now, I'm not throwing out any accusations here, but it sounds like I'm not the only one with what you just said here. Because both our lines of thoughts very clearly arent rooted in reality.

Anyway shoe horning is horrific and if you think you need it in something then I think you havent yet experienced what its like when it actually happens, and so the version of it in your mind is a lot more nicer than it would actually be. The reality of it is if it did happen, it would be torn to shreds on both sides anyway. It would still be considered problematic no matter what they did. Right now you can tell me that that isnt true, and right now I could tell you that most of you wanted that lottery system you're all still having so much fun with.
