In all honesty, I believe that was only at the start. Ever since, it's just people from both sides wanting to get the final say with a "gotcha" moment full with slander and getting touchy when the other responds in kind.

And something fun I've just noticed is how useless the showing sexual preferences as inappropiate for this game is given the ESRB warnings shown just at the very end of the page.

Otherwise I already made my point about this... 13 pages before or so, so I'm not going to bother repeating myself. Packetdance also made a very good point. When creatings character, minor aspects such as sexual orientation or race should be taken into consideration AFTER the character's foundations are built, not used as the foundation themselves.

Very true, although sometimes I do not think its wrong to use such a aspect as a starting block. For example, if you are writing a story and feel it needs more female characters, or male characters, or big muscular barbarian red-haired women, its not wrong to start with the basis of "Right this character is going to be male/female/gay/Jewish ect". This is especially true if said story is set in a world where these apparent minor aspects will heavily impact how they are treated/the story. The important thing is that by the end they are a mixture of flaws, feelings, contradictions and charms that make well-rounded characters enjoyable.

I really do not see where people get the idea that we want their LGBTQ+ness to be the only trait. That boring. Its like having a character who just has a hat and does nothing else by say ‘Hi. I have a hat.’ At least make them a serial killer or something…
