Just like how EVERY server on OCE, has the exact same style of named FC's with level 1 leaders, all buying the exact same houses in Goblet Ward 2?





Im sure a totally legitimate player can afford to buy 2-3B worth of houses (Yes, every other plot in those wards have 1 bid on them, most likely from the exact same person).

This is an RMT/Reseller without a doubt.

I don't doubt there's nefarious stuff happening with that, but just curious as to whyyyy they would make it so obvious? I'm assuming those are different FCs, but using the same tag. Why draw that attention to yourself in a system that is probably going to be heavily scrutinized for awhile?

As it is irl, it has little to nothing to do with personal merit or many more peoples would own a house ig and irl.

Most of the young peoples that just got into active life won't be able to own a house ever that's just a mirage that go even farther each years that pass (at least in my country can't speak for other but i doubt it is that different).

As for in game i don't think i "worked hard" to get a house, i was just there years ago and it was a lot more easier to get one (as it is irl ironnically)

Same for my relocation, i just got lucky and there is nothing more about it.

Its actually ashame that it again comes to those that are willing to abuse the system will get the rewards. It might not be against the rules to make of have a shell fc but i cant help but feel it does go against the intentions of this but really i would find it very hard to believe that the final fantasy team would not have seen this coming. Just like the old system that basically encouraged botting what happened here encourages this.

Watch SE flip things so Wards 1-18 are personal and 19-24 are FC on May 17th so all those making last minute shell FCs have almost nothing to choose from.

I would get an honest belly-laugh out of that if it happened.

And it's not hard to earn gil. In my almost 90 days on materia I've earn't 62 million, normally about 1 million a day in marketbaord sales on Materia. On my NA server I was earning more.

The player doing this has likely just imported old gil from their NA server.

But, give them salt, that's what they want.

Making Gil in the game is not hard. However making 62 million in 90 days or less will take effort. That said, making the money required to purchase a small house between lotteries is entirely doable.

I will be making an FC myself to get Workshop access and more Gardens.
Can't buy them anymore, because you have to be in the FC for 31 days to be able to get Master rank, likewise you can't Promote members unless they are 31 days in it as well.
Personally, I'd make it 90 days.

You need to wait 31 days since creation of the FC before you can enter the Lottery, the Master must also be in the FC for 31 days by default, and then the FC must be Rank 6 or more and also it needs four members, it doesn't matter how long or what level the other 3 members are, so really, it's just the wait and that is good because many people want instant or nothing.
Unsure if say, you join an FC, you wait 31 days to be promoted to Master, does it then make to you wait another 31 days before the new Master can bid?

At any rate I see little point to be in someone else's FC anymore, make your own and get the housing and workshop stuff! then you can add your Alt's and use chest to exchange items and such, while not having to worry about dramas, stolen items and Gil and the fact you can't even chat while across worlds.

This is the route to go. I've had my own solo FC for years just for the extra storage, and recently my gf started playing as well. We've already invited a few members who are willing to stick around at least until we win a lot. Once you own the property, there's no need for extra players anymore. They won't take it away because your membership falls too low. The problem is that someone with moderator access to the plot has to step foot in it once every 60 days or they demolish it. I lost a FC and a personal house like that while I was on break to go back to college. Came back to no members, an empty FCbank, and no houses. And then they stopped demolitions right before I was able to return to the game. Just ugh with these people sometimes. Anything and everything they can think of to keep from just buying enough servers to support this antiquated system, allowing everyone to have a plot. Guess the stockholders are getting greedier with all the record profits and sub numbers. It's obvious they have no intention of funneling any of those new profits into correcting anything. Makes it hard to stick around and want to keep giving them money. I'm trying to just be patient like everyone else, but the number of disappointments keeps rising while the content keeps getting slacker and more dumbed down. If my gf weren't here now, I would've been gone at 90 when the ridiculously long movie we paid for was the only xp I needed to hit cap. Time will tell.
