Make a FC and get a house

I will be making an FC myself to get Workshop access and more Gardens.
Can't buy them anymore, because you have to be in the FC for 31 days to be able to get Master rank, likewise you can't Promote members unless they are 31 days in it as well.
Personally, I'd make it 90 days.

You need to wait 31 days since creation of the FC before you can enter the Lottery, the Master must also be in the FC for 31 days by default, and then the FC must be Rank 6 or more and also it needs four members, it doesn't matter how long or what level the other 3 members are, so really, it's just the wait and that is good because many people want instant or nothing.
Unsure if say, you join an FC, you wait 31 days to be promoted to Master, does it then make to you wait another 31 days before the new Master can bid?

At any rate I see little point to be in someone else's FC anymore, make your own and get the housing and workshop stuff! then you can add your Alt's and use chest to exchange items and such, while not having to worry about dramas, stolen items and Gil and the fact you can't even chat while across worlds.

This is the route to go. I've had my own solo FC for years just for the extra storage, and recently my gf started playing as well. We've already invited a few members who are willing to stick around at least until we win a lot. Once you own the property, there's no need for extra players anymore. They won't take it away because your membership falls too low. The problem is that someone with moderator access to the plot has to step foot in it once every 60 days or they demolish it. I lost a FC and a personal house like that while I was on break to go back to college. Came back to no members, an empty FCbank, and no houses. And then they stopped demolitions right before I was able to return to the game. Just ugh with these people sometimes. Anything and everything they can think of to keep from just buying enough servers to support this antiquated system, allowing everyone to have a plot. Guess the stockholders are getting greedier with all the record profits and sub numbers. It's obvious they have no intention of funneling any of those new profits into correcting anything. Makes it hard to stick around and want to keep giving them money. I'm trying to just be patient like everyone else, but the number of disappointments keeps rising while the content keeps getting slacker and more dumbed down. If my gf weren't here now, I would've been gone at 90 when the ridiculously long movie we paid for was the only xp I needed to hit cap. Time will tell.
