if I knew how to do this kind of art, and had imagination for haircuts, I would not only put models for hrothgar and viera, but I would make a point of putting a hrothgar and viera wearing a hat as an easter egg.
I miss my viera but I can't see myself changing back to her anytime soon. Even with the new added hairstyles. I saw someone comment that they change hairstyles on their nonviera less than on their viera and same for me, I stay with mostly great lengths on my miqote just due to the fact that I can change headpieces all I want. With viera I had to adapt the few hairstyles I had to the few headpieces I had. So many glams look unfinished without headpieces.
I really hope they will give hats to vieras and hrothgars and fix the hairs for hrothgars in this expansion. It is long overdue.

I just simply cannot take the disrespect, disreguard, and dissapointment from you any longer SE! I have spent the past few days grinding my A$$ off to be able to get the new SEASON EXCLUSIVE PvP gear, not even just regular gear, but SPECIAL gear, only to finally get it and be so excited to equip it and what do I discover? Viera are the ONE AND ONLY race in the game that the head gear does not show up on! WHY? I WANT TO KNOW WHY? WHAT IS SO HARD ABOUT HIDING THE EARS LIKE I HAVE SEEN DONE WITH 1000 OTHER HEAD GEAR ON THE CATS???????
I have been playing this game since Phase 1 of the Alpha testing and this is the first time I have been so done and over with something so stupidly simple that I am seriously just thinking about walking away and finding something else to play because I am sick and tired of being disappointed over and over and over with something that should NOT be happening!!!!!!!

That was me. It is probably due to me just being more satisfied with the look of my au ra, than viera, to be honest. I have no reason to change her hair much, because I like her hair. I mean, I haven't changed my au ra's general look for about 5 years...I miss my viera but I can't see myself changing back to her anytime soon. Even with the new added hairstyles. Yeah, I just don't want to give them money to fantasia to viera. Giving them money just to have less just isn't that fun, no matter how much I like viera.

I have 4 fantasias sitting in my chocosaddle, but I just don't want to. I feel the itch at times when I see tall and beautiful vieras running around but....then I look at their heads and just feel "nope". Funnily enough I don't even use that many headpieces that they can't wear. But it is enough to not be able to wear the calfskin cap or farlander hat of healing or pelts and veils that it just puts me off. I feel like I am playing a complete game now, as miqote. I can wear everything. I can participate in all events and have all rewards usable. I can buy a glam off mogstation without looking at the additional pics to see if it will work for my viera, because it just will for my miqote. That was me. My biggest concern is not being as tall as I want and that sometimes my ears are cut off in some headgear.
QUESTIONS:
#1
Would people have preferred it if the Veena were the Foel Viera? Personally, I think this would have been more ideal and would have made more of a difference between the two tribes. On a few occasions, I've seen people within the community request that Viera should have their minimum height reduced, and I think the Feol would cater to those types of people who want to play a 'short Viera', while the Rava stay as the tall Amazonian tribe.
Edit: For some reason, it won't let me write a message in my own thread despite I haven't reached the maximum daily post yet.
Someone questioned if the Feol are actually 'short' and all I can say is: bare in mind Feol are not fully Viera, they're in fact a hybrid of a different sort, so it is a possibility their height was adjusted. Also, comparing SE's concept of Fran and the Feol side by side, it looks like they are in fact shorter. Lore-wise, their height is never specified so I can only speculate.
Either way, I think more differences between all race's tribes could really make our characters feel even more unique.

I have also seen quite a few people suggest that our Hrothgar's should go and visit the chiropractor, it's made me curious how many actually like the hunch. What do people think of the Hrothgar's posture? Do you like it, or would you ideally like it changed, and why? Unfortunately, due to SE having a rule of 'we're not changing it because a few people might like it', an ideal scenario would be if there was a way we could toggle it somehow, other than using the temporary cpose idle. I personally don't know much about game design, so I'm unsure if this is as easy as I think it is - feel free to inform me.

Square Enix have extorted money from Viera and Hrothgar's limitations, but from the outside looking in it seems barely any of that money is invested back into the limited races. How much money have they made from players
fantasia'ing to and from the limited races? We want more race-exclusive hair.
We want them improved, and we want it done within a reasonable time.

More noticeable differences between a races tribes would be great rather than just pallet swap with maybe different eyes, the only one to do that is Hyur with the Midlander vs Highlander (female highlanders didn't exist back then unless you count Minfilia) differences. They could have done the same thing for the Au Ra too if the rejected designs are to be considered. But sadly, that would be too hard the dev team.QUESTIONS:

I don't like the Hrothgar hunch myself, but many game devs seem to do that with their beast races unfortunately.

1st question, I agree. It would have made a nicer contrast, but I think that Viera would have been the main choice for most and the Feol would become the "Highlander" of the bunny people.
2nd question, 10000% YES! Please SE, let my poor baby boy see a chiropractor! He is in constant pain from bad posture!!!
In all seriousness, I would love for them to at least give the option of a toggle. The majority of animations straighten their backs anyway, with only a few utilising the slouch. And as a 3D animator, the issue is very fixable, just a few rotations of the vertices from the torso of the model, or even easier, straightening the bones from their back rig. That's it.
I would have loved to have the The Feol version as a playeable race! AND PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD CAN THEY FIX HROTHGAR POSTUREQUESTIONS:

This is from the game:
And this is I'm assuming a modded picture:
