Hmm, not for me, no. I actually like their stance than the male miqo's since the latter gives off a beer belly..at least for me.I finally caved and switched from bunny boi to cat boi. The lack of hats was one thing, but I don’t like the male viera slouch. It makes them look awkward in 90% of glamour.
I could do without the crooked hands, but male miqo have the best standing and running animations.

Absolutely agreed on implementing hats. Come on yoshi. If you can give me the imperial cap of fending that my ears just clip through you can do the same for all the other hats damn it
Adamantiny : nice work here
I’m personally for the “let them clip” options and just having the choice to put the hat or not, according to my preferences, because this would be the easiest fix for Squeenix.
But clearly, editing all hats in design would be a must, especially a single edit like your first one, which can work for all ears types at once.
Sturmchurro : no worries it’s not because of you !
I let myself be tempted because new hair and the Makai stuff rerun (another thing I lost), so plenty of new head options![]()
Yes it was really hard to lose all but since I have a master degree and my husband not, it’s easier for me to find a job in every country. Switzerland don’t offer much possibilities for adults without a formation, or it cost a lot of money. So I was the one to change country ^^

For some helmets, I see the possibility of just clipping the ears, but there are others that would be really weird, or extremely buggy. Crowns, for example, have a lot of ornament that would pass through the ears. Top hats and tall helmets would leave only the tip of the ears visible, and they would look strange. And helmets that are completely closed, having a furry ear on top would be weird (in addition to not making sense to protect the whole part of the head, but leaving the ears vulnerable, since they are extremely vascular parts).
Some models the community has already solved, such as top hats, bearskin, dragoon helmets... And I particularly loved the creativity. But there are many that still don't have models (at least I haven't found them).
So I decided to combine my desire to have the helmets, with the desire to leave this thread active, and I decided to give some ideas here. If SE doesn't take advantage of them, at least some modder will XD

Just quoting this to bump it. Pay no mind.

in those cases I guess they could turn off the ears instead, but the fact of the matter is that modders have fixed this for LITERALLY EVERY HAT ALREADY.
Square has 0 excuses. Throw out some money to each of these guys, stick in an art consultation credit, call it a day.

If a list of requests is being compiled somewhere in this giant thread, I have another one: Add Viera and Hrothgar characters to the list of potential grand company recruits. Both of these races have been out for years now, so it’s weird to me that this is still an example of another thing where the races are limited in terms of customization mechanics.

People should make sure to submit a lot of Viera and Hrothgar entrees on the next hairstyle competition.
When/if that happens again.
