Make a FC and get a house

I will be making an FC myself to get Workshop access and more Gardens.
Can't buy them anymore, because you have to be in the FC for 31 days to be able to get Master rank, likewise you can't Promote members unless they are 31 days in it as well.
Personally, I'd make it 90 days.

You need to wait 31 days since creation of the FC before you can enter the Lottery, the Master must also be in the FC for 31 days by default, and then the FC must be Rank 6 or more and also it needs four members, it doesn't matter how long or what level the other 3 members are, so really, it's just the wait and that is good because many people want instant or nothing.
Unsure if say, you join an FC, you wait 31 days to be promoted to Master, does it then make to you wait another 31 days before the new Master can bid?

At any rate I see little point to be in someone else's FC anymore, make your own and get the housing and workshop stuff! then you can add your Alt's and use chest to exchange items and such, while not having to worry about dramas, stolen items and Gil and the fact you can't even chat while across worlds.

I'm not sure why they just didn't do FC's only for rounds 1 and then open all the wards to everyone for round 2. It would have only been a few days and not something like what they did on Spriggan and Twintania where is was a few months. This would have given FC's more than a chance to get a house for their members.

It was FC only/relocations only for a time followed by a switch over to free-for-all. Been so long I can't remember when it was though. That's the sad state of housing. I can't even remember when they added plots last. lol

From what I am seeing from the 1st wave of the lottery and even with the set back there are plenty of free empty plots so I encourage everyone to make a Fc. A house will be waiting for you.

Yeah, exactly, this person buying goblet 2 isnt RMT or a reseller in any sense. They are just aiming for the flex and world first.

After all, an RMTer would be going after the highly valuable plots. LB 11/41 - Mist 5/35 - Shiro 30/60 and so on. Not grabbing a Goblet 28.

And with so many Materia houses available for everyone right now, it's not a big deal and not even worth the salt some people have.

After the first round, many people on Materia who tried will have one, and those on Materia who sadly missed out will be close to certain next round.

Im sure a totally legitimate player can afford to buy 2-3B worth of houses (Yes, every other plot in those wards have 1 bid on them, most likely from the exact same person).

And it's not hard to earn gil. In my almost 90 days on materia I've earn't 62 million, normally about 1 million a day in marketbaord sales on Materia. On my NA server I was earning more.

The player doing this has likely just imported old gil from their NA server.

But, give them salt, that's what they want.

As to those Goblet Ward 2's in OCE , SE will be looking very carefully at every plot in the game while analyzing the lottery screw-up and how to fix it, so those plots will get a very bright light shone on them. I would expect Yoshi to direct his special operations team to do a thorough background look at the approx 300 sub accounts and 4b+ gil needed to sustain those FC's and acquire those plots.
