[dev1002] CE/Veteran Title Request

I must have missed something, what does leaving your character logged in while afk have anything to do with what OP is asking for?

I thought the post is about a title for people that started playing this game a long time ago. I don't care if some of them didn't play and just left their characters on.. all i really care about is my title lol..

because in a post the op suggest using time played as a mechanic to figure out who deserves it.

and i am a forum poster who has the right to post in any post i feel i have something to add to, sorry if you dont agree with my views, but i have the right to them and to continue to express them just like you do

Yoshi + Devs,

This is a simple request. Please add a multi-tiered Title Achievement for total playtime.

I, as well as many others, have played FFXIV since day one. There's a sense of pride in having "been there done that" over the various phases of this games lifespan. That's why I'm requesting recognition of players who stuck with FFXIV since even its worst times.

We could have given up, moved on to other games, completely forgot about the failure that FFXIV was: but we didn't

Well now there's a way to better represent that than lvl 10 starter items that quickly become obselete in regards to utility yet remain timeless in worth. That new way is Titles and its a great incentive for even new players to work towards.

So implementing this system benefits both parties: veterans get their deserved recognition first and newer players have something to look forward to achieving in the coming years.

Details:
Title grants *could* be determined by something similiar to:

- total hours or days played

-As for the Titles themselves-

The tiers of Titles should reflect the total time FFXIV has been "live".

This will allow players to feel a sense of accomplishment for sticking with your product.

UPDATE:

Got some title ideas:

"the Enduring"

"the Devoted"

Oddly enough I don't like the idea in the form of a title. I would rather have something in game exclusive that I could use that was actually useful. Something like a Warp Pass that allowed you to warp one place every 24 hours without using Anima or mount or a piece of r50 gear say a crown or something along those lines saying you been here since the beginning. A title is worthless and an insult to someone who has been here since the beginning if you ask me.

Dude, I don't think you've read it because i already posted in this thread ahead of you. I still don't get what you are asking because it doesn't matter how long you leave your character logged in, it only matters WHEN you started. But obviously you have not read this post so stfu pls.
