This would be really cool with personal instanced housing and a biome not yet claimed by current housing. A yurt in the Azim Steppes. They could have one with a creek, plains as far as the eye can see, or next to/in a cave.

Tough pick if I have to choose only one from these:
- Crystarium
- Amaurotine
- Sharlayan
But if we actually get an instance housing, I'll scrap all above and demand that small house at solitary floating island in Elpis instead.
Hint: It's the only area that we never visit going by MSQ progression alone. A small house with comfy sized yard. THAT would be a treat! It's my favorite hanging spot.

The thing is, if we had MORE zones, everyone COULD have one. Just doubling the houses by 50 to 100% will raise the amount of houses per server over the average local server capacity. Adding wards 26 through 50, and later 51 through 100 would be a god send. More wards actually will make the housing market more sustainable, as long as they fix the bugs, and potential exploits. Future housing zones absolutely will help the game.None
Just instanced housing, if anything just add instanced housing with a customizable backdrop/skybox. A house in the middle of nowhere(s).
Thats it. I dont want them to bother adding new zones for no one to get houses in.
The only place id have also suggested is basically a pile of rubble now anyway.

I had that idea years ago, and absolutely love the thought of it.

The monk temple getting converted into an instanced housing zone could potentially work, but I think id rather have it gain monk story relevance. That always disappointed me about Gyr Albania. They hyped up this legendary monk army organization, and then did nothing with it. It's gone and dead. I want it revived instead of being a housing area. We really could do with more Monk npcs in the game, and in Gyr Abania in general. The lack of is disappointing. Bring on the new order.

CrystariumCrystarium, Old Sharlayan, Ala Mhigo, Doma, Thavnair, Eulmore, Mor Dohna, Idyllshire, or anywhere else. Where do you want a ward?
I know I included a type of city that has never had houses before, but I don't think it would be off the table since the other cities we have in the first place don't even have grand companies. Where do you want housing? What is the aesthetic that you desire for a ward. Lets let the devs know so that they can keep this going. We still need more housing.
Kugane will always be the go to for the weebs.
Ultima Thule technically would be great for instanced housing as you can put in paid housing with whatever theme you want.
Crystarium!!! You can even see housing off in the background. Been WAITING for it but idk if we will get it.

Instanced housing wards so all the poor slobs without a house can experience the joy of housing content.
They pay the same as me for sub. I (and the others with a house) shouldn't be worth more and get more.
Letter from the Producer LIVE Part IX Q&A Summary (10/30/2013)
Q: Will there be any maintenance fees or other costs for housing, besides the cost of the land and house?
A: In older MMOs, such as Ultima Online, there was a house maintenance fee you had to pay weekly, but in FFXIV: ARR we decided against this system. Similarly, these older MMOs also had a system where your house would break down if you didn’t log in after a while in order to have you continue your subscription, but this is a thing of the past and we won't have any system like that.
