What Housing Wards Do You Want Next?

i think it would be more economical to add apartments for the rest of the major cities, just make them bigger and better than the ones we currently have access to.
from what i understand its the outside and gardens that need the most resources, adding an extra option where the inn room is might be easier. besides if we got something like our crystarium room with a balcony i doubt many people would turn their nose up.

Instanced housing sounds suffocating, it would be like being in a prison inside the void.


Wards are the same but much bigger and having neighbors even if they are never around is all the better for my housing experience, just seeing the other houses around make me glad.



I agree that they should offer both options, normal housing for players like myself and instanced housing for everyone else, though I honestly doubt instanced housing could be on par with normal housing.

I could be very wrong, but it seems a lot of people think of a small enclosed space (e.g. XIV apartments) when they think of instanced housing. Instanced housing can give you an enormous amount of space and flexibility - it all depends on how it's designed. Sadly for us, XIV seems to prefer sticking with basic rooms.

Would also be a working, non 4th wall breaking instanced housing since it's at the edge of the universe in the dynamis sphere or whatever where dreams come real.

I would like to see housing in the area of the Empty in Norvrandt. Lock purchasers behind Eden completion. Maybe something could go silly in Amaurot and housing can go there.

Would also work lore-wise for instanced housing. Just a house in the middle of empty nothingness.

I would be happy with The Ridorana Lighthouse in the last boss fight and you have all those buildings with nice gardens plus the lighthouse itself screams apartments for days.

I would absolutely love something in the Crystarium, even if it was only an Apartment - the identical building next door to the Pendant's would be perfect...

They need to stop wasting resources on adding wards and implement instanced housing. SE's reasoning for not adding more wards is due to the hardware requirements, and I believe that claim. The housing servers are getting hammered during prime time, and it takes many attempts to enter a house/apartment. And despite this, the new housing ward could only supply 10% or less of the personal housing demand. The ward system's inability to scale ends up excluding an overwhelming majority of the playerbase from accessing this content.

What good is the ambience and community of a neighborhood to the over 90% of bidders who couldn't get a house in the first round? In the second round, their chance of getting a house drops dramatically, and by the 3rd round it will be virtually 0% unless the remaining smalls in the FC wards are opened to personal bids before they get snapped up by a bunch of suspicious new FCs that will hit the 30 day old mark within the next couple of lottery periods.
