I wonder where has he been getting his feedback from? I know many Hrothgar players wanted them to at least unlock the other Hrothgar hairstyles for the other faces. While I commend them for finally allowing Hrothgar the ability switch between the 2 hairstyles of a face, I am left wondering why they chose the those? Is it because they already made it available to male Viera?

I got that impression as well. Them laughing at the reveal was in poor taste and not professional and it made it seem to me that they didn't care. Maybe others felt the same way too; hence the current outrage.

It's too hard to know what was being said on those Niconico chat screens they have to the side, but I am pretty sure the laughing wasn't directly aimed at our dear Hroth friends.

He did address it, quite comprehensively. He admitted he was surprised at the reaction and asked Hroth players to respectfully suggest which way they would like to go,

do you want more human-type hairs faster - which would be earless?
do you want head specific racial hairs with ears that would be much slower?

He asked people to post their desire on the forums so he could then decide.

Is this a late first April joke? People was doing this for years by now. It just like he will say fuck off and talk over there so 8 don't need to hear you. I don't get why people think yoshi is such a good and respectful person.

Hopefully not having ears is only a short-term solution. They're also working on Hrothgirls. Creating their hairstyles, making armor fit them and so on. Perhaps they will have fixed versions, on or near the release of female Hrothgar.

They will not. I really can't understand players here. Yoshi say the most stupid thing for a reason to a big problem and most of the people forgive at the spot. He him self did say that the things this castrated races can use (hats,hair) was made by some devs in their free time. He don't give a fuck. The sooner people get it the sooner some thing may start to change.

You can provide that opinion respectfully to Yoshi through the forums, or you can try to fight me, taking your frustrations out. The second option isn't the productive one. Especially as I have always hoped (and am strongly on record of) my dear, dear Hroth friends get all their dreams and the
hair they desire.

Yoshi-P has had THREE YEARS to come up with a solution to hairstyle problems that don't involve chopping off our ears to streaming the addition of shared hairstyles that literally no hrothgar player asked for.

3 years in which they had bigger priorities such as new dungeons, raids, MSQ, an expansion and covid. Let's be honest, Hrothgar is not as popular as some as the others and hairstyles in general are not their biggest priority. I suppose they thought this was a good enough compromise to a problem that is hard for them to solve and their gamble didn't pay off, but it's still low priority so I wouldn't expect it to be improved any time soon.

There have been other answers such as expressing how some healers might feel overwhelmed or just want to heal and nothing else, wanting to reduce the burden on healers in pvp because it doesn't fit with how the rest of the content in the game isn't stressful for healers.

Obviously they aren't the answers that people want but they are pretty clear answers. They don't want to make healing stressful or busy. The community can keep pushing for this answer to change, but it doesn't mean there hasn't been an answer.

There is tons of issues that dont even get talked about in a LL or at all that are brought up that people want changed or need a fix. Some of these havent been fixed either despite being brought up before Hroth existed. Some things took many many years to happen (un-genderlocking old dresses etc). So before you get angry about priorities you should think about that. They are trying to figure out a way to fix the hroth hair and ears. They gave solutions then asked people to leave feedback for what you would prefer to happen. Obviously they are waiting to gather feedback then make a change.

He hasn't said sorry, he's asked for people's opinion on which way to go now. You can do that respectfully, or not. I can't do it, as i don't play a hroth, even if I have a lot of Hroth friends and admire them all and want to help them!
