GW 1 and 2 you can teleport for free, anytime, to any specified location. Even the gil teleports are super cheap (Aion, Tera, etc).

Going to the place the first time should be mandatory, it shouldnt let you teleport somewhere if you have not gone there yourself also, (like XI), MP i stated because it is regenerated that is the point so no idea why you brought it up (like XI).

This game took what is a nice feature about most games and can be freely done through easily regenerated methods (MP/Gil) that is under the control of the user (rest MP or earn Gil) and made it completely shit and ruined it by locking on a stupid timeframe to it with a low cap and expensive tele rates.

They tried to fix what was not broken and made it worse.
abused because this is ffxiv not 11. We have the armory system which allows to to change classes on the fly. So if i wanna teleport i switch to the respective job for unlimited teleporting then switch back. If there was a cool-down then if you switched to the job for a fast tele you'd have to wait for the cool-down. Basically im saying <no thank you> to class restrictive teleporting.

If you want a system like this then you may as well just ask for them to abolish anima with unlimited non restricted teleporting cause tahts what it will be.

I like the ather pass in uldah. I wouldn't mind doing quest for different ather passes that got you camps instead of the current system. I hope in 2.0 they come up with a creative method of travel that may have something to do with GC and quest.
