It's pretty much the exact same situation: extra work, nothing easier about it.

That's not even my main point, we've seen how things are treated for an actual race in need of cosmetics, the workload for one of these is arguably pretty much the same, while for the other if we go by the current "quality" standards isn't much more than that either. So I don't understand why some people think that slapping SEVERAL male or female haircuts on the opposite gender races who are also more numerous is an easier task as opposed to doing hairs for only 3+1 races. Not to mention it is less important, because let's be real 90% of the unisex haircuts are feminine already and tons of male players are already disappointed in the lack of masculine styles, while Hrothgar are stuck looking like karens, and viera have like 20 hair tops.
Example: Gyr Abania on the aformentioned races
2 models, 3 if you want a weird cat with no ears.
Y'stolha hair on males?
Midlander, Highlander, Miqote, Elezen, Roe, Aura, Lalafell
that's 6-1 for being generous with lalafell.

honestly I'm more disappointed to not have good long hair options for male, well, aside for zenos but I don't want to look like zenosThat's not even my main point, we've seen how things are treated for an actual race in need of cosmetics, the workload for one of these is arguably pretty much the same, while for the other if we go by the current "quality" standards isn't much more than that either. You literally buy it knowing it was made for a particular gender. You can't say "if they want to charge me money for it" when you buy it knowing that.I mean, if they want to charge me money for it they may as well let it work if I ever fantasia to a female character again. Least they could do, really.
Also, there's some strapped gloves (forgot what set it's on) that only female characters can use. I would kill to use them on my male viera :^)
I, too, want your male bunny to wear Ryne's dress. Godspeed, you crazy diamond.
No, but seriously. I fancy myself a deep dungeon delver and it all started with how in love I was with the lore and side-story of Palace of the Dead. Reaper came out, yay! Now I can cosplay Ed-Oh. Woe my mistake for making a male, I suppose.

While we're at it, give me all the female hairs in the shop. Lightning, Y'shtola, and heck even make the Tactics hairstyle from the Ivalice Raid storyline for male characters. It's about time those got retooled to give you both in cases where there are two, and that we don't have to be locked out of gear. Even job gear should let you wear whichever gender you desire on any gender.I, too, want your male bunny to wear Ryne's dress. Godspeed, you crazy diamond.

Multiple things can be focused on at the same time; all this relates to restrictions (on customization) that shouldn’t still exist years later. There are many developers, Square Enix is easily able to hire more developers if needed, and Square Enix has a humongous amount of financial resources, so it’s not an unreasonable request.
