If it looks low effort, it's just reflecting how good this patch has been.

In all seriousness, I would not want to be the group behind missing an 'off by one' error as these are relatively common. It is unfortunate that housing is the system where one of these were missed inside of QA testing.
Presonally I think there are issues in the company that we do not see. Understaffing is probably one of them as I remember there was a note from Yoshi P in one of the live letters that they will slow down because the staff is heavily overtime worked for ShB and Endwalker and they need a break. I am sorry but this is not how you should approach your staff as a "service provider". You are paid a subscription fee for your services, which are expected to be good at all time. Imagine if your internet would just not work well 50% of the times, you would complain constantly. At least thats what I did when my net was acting up. If you dont have enough people to work on this project wihtout constant overtime work maybe consider reallocating the budget to a few more headcount. I can only imagine that the management has a KPI that is on Gross Margin and not EBITA base and when you do this decisions will eventually go sucky for the colleagues as colleagues are only seen in EBITA level as a cost. I said this many times for games companies before, I feel like the finance leadership is incompetent if they are thinking on GM level... money is not always profit... by the way. Most big corporations also have customer satisfaction embedded to management KPI. But game companies are not on this level. Such a shame that they dont see how non tangible things can generate a long term profit vs a short term sale.
Any kind of "addiction" and "hooking" of people on anything is not a good thing to be. Maybe back in the early basement dwelling sweaty unwashed days of MMO, but certainly not now.
6.1 might be one of the best patch so far, mainly because of the msq/alliance-raid/adventurer plate/new housing and pvp. Lmao are we playing the same game?
Are we? New housing is an absolute mess and PvP is buggy and unbalanced. Also being unable to party up with friends outside of ranked feels awful. MSQ and alliance raid are part of the course.
im baby
5.1 gave us msq, alliance, fellowships, crafting and performance overhaul, and everything worked as intended on release. Clearly we're not playing the same game.
