But this isn't the raid gear this is the early gear the 570 gear that isn't able to be desynthed or turned in. The 580 gear that's crafted and from primals is able to be turned in so this in theory should be. This seems like an oversight and hopefully they fix shortly.

It's an oversight to include it in the loot table, quick explorations has never ever rewarded items that you couldn't either at least vendor, desynth or turn in for expert deliveries until now.

Not true, for years level 60 blue Disciple of the Hand and Land gear that is not vendorable, desynthable or redeemable for GC seals has been a possible reward from retainer Quick Ventures - whenever they've come up in Quick Ventures I've always just thrown them away (I'm not into crafting or gathering), so this is really nothing new.

While this is true it still does not make it the correct design.
