I'm aware. What I'm saying is you're both overselling how much people don't care about housing perks out there, and *maybe* overselling how many people with an FC house religiously do that.
Thav. Onions only matter if you intend to summon / level-up your Chocobo. Something that not many people do. Infact, the only time I've actually seen people use Chocobos is Fate-farming. And the people summoning their chocobos usually have them maxed already.

And yeah, you can decide to use that as justification that "cross-breeding is a must-have" of some sort. But I still stand by my stance of "adding a community greenhouse to the Apartments would fix the issue." in the sense that you own an apartment, thus you gain access to 4 (maybe upgradable to the full 8) plots in the greenhouse that only you can interact with. Even if people decide to use their Chocobos.

Lastly, if you're not going to use the systems tied with the housing. Then why get them in the first place? I'm of the camp of "If you use the land you own, then it's fine." If you don't use the land you own, then what point is there in holding onto it? Bragging rights?

(I say this, knowing a few people on Mateus specifically that own plenty of houses. One of which owning a personal large. Who don't use them at all, yet refuse to sell them or vacate the plot, because they wouldn't get their gil back.)
