I don't really see that. Au Ra and Miqo'te look like young adults to me. I just like viera more for a bunch of reasons. I can just imagine how great some of their unique hairs could be if SE actually put the time and resources into making it a reality!

Yeah Fem Au Ra and Miqo'te stand at 5'3 and 5'4 respectively and look like early to mid 20s. It's just skewed because of the amount of taller/beefier races. Also Viera occupy the same space as Elezen so comparisons to Au Ra/Miqo'te are odd.

this is my issue. I know im in the like, minor here being an RPer/someone who writes a backstory for their character. But Vartra is OLD, like, in his early 50s. I cant easily fanta him into something like an Au Ra if I wanna keep the 'bestial', or the Veira : (

So with the upcoming dandelion fluffy male hair, the female hair with the braid in the back and the unisex side pony it looks like they are simultaneously working on the oldest and newest hair files, not “choosing” specific styles.

Going forward, depending on the frequency of releases it might be possible to guesstimate how long it’ll take for specific hair :3

So either the "dandelion fluffy" male hair is being added as the male equivalent to the back braided female style instead of Artoirel's hair, or we're possibly getting two default unlocks? Yeah, once the prepatch dl goes live we’ll be able to see what/how many types were getting. Personally I’m inclined to think the dandelion will be a separate hair if only because the fluffy male hair also has a female equivalent and I feel like it’d be odd to cross wires file wise. But I guess anything goes as long as it ends up 1:1. We’ll find out soon enough!

Which was my character's hair waaaaaay back when she was a miqo'te in hw, so I kinda hope they do give it to buns. I think its pretty cute for being so old!

and I asked a friend to make me a list:

Gold saucer ponytail and 2B both kinda go against my theory, so I will need more hairstyles released. For science.
