If there is one thing I know, if this is the best they can do for hrothgar, I have little to no hope for viera hairs. This is just a continuation of what people like I have been talking about for years. We told you all so. I do like how much push back it's receiving however.

How does that translate?

We've seen they're adding more hairstyles to Viera, and that they function normally.

Why should the state of Hrothgar now give us concern over something separate that has shown itself to not have the same problem?

Let's be real. They look awful. This is what I am talking about, however. Should we give praise to SE just because they added hairs?

The Hrothgar ones look awful, yes. I still don't see why that should instantly raise concern for the Viera styles, which seemed okay besides that the specific choices so far are not the best. People are reacting like it's all we'll ever get, when (certainly to my impression) the styles introduced so far point to the beginning of a systematic unlocking of everything and not just a few specifically selected "best choices".

From the look of the ones released so far, I don't sense that there will be a particular issue with the "best choice" hairstyles for Viera when we get to them.

It should raise concern, because this seems to be an ongoing theme over at SE. They release things that (if they release anything), in my opinion, don't look like they actually put much effort in, and a bulk of the community always seem okay with it. "Oh, it'll get better". I'm sorry, but my optimistic outlook is gone after so many years of this.

It doesn't seem to me like they ever wanted to add these hairs, for either hrothgar or viera. They wanted to release them in their original state with no hairs, no hats, no headgear, and be done with it, in my opinion. They have only kept on going, because there has been some push back from the community.

Gonna show my support here, I only watched the Live Letter to see the new Hrothgar hairstyles, that is all I cared about from this. And when it finally came to it it was horrible, the worst "joke" I have ever seen. The worst part is them laughing at the poor excuse of a hairstyle, it felt like they were laughing at the players themselves! I see it as either a joke at the Hrothgar player base's expense or the worst kind of malicious compliance.
There were 6 total hairstyles shown. I felt like the dev team was slapping me across the face 5 times. The exception was the 2B Hrothgar in which they straight up threw me on the ground and jumped on my head wearing spiky climbing shoes...
The bright side is that with the addition of the 2B Hrothgar I can finally show my therapist a good representation of what my sleep paralysis demon looks like.
