I'm waiting for the day when they start not giving out hats and hair as rewards, just so they don't have to listen to complaints about Hrothgars and Vieras.

Why do I say this? For it is a fact that this expansion sinned a lot in the matter of details. They said they would spare no expense, but apparently that's what they're doing most of the time.

I've been playing since the SB, and I noticed a drop in the quality of the game in the SHB. Initially I thought it was the whole COVID thing, but frankly, how long is this going to last? It's been 2 years since this has been said, and as a biologist, I dare say that COVID will never really go away, it's a virus, and they are extremely changeable. That said, will the quality be bad forever?

Remember when au'ra was released, and even with the horns, the scales, nothing was an excuse they couldn't use something? Remember when all races had a child model? Look at the new races, it's just excuse after excuse.

Even with 1.0 falling apart, they made the game practically from scratch, included male miqo'te and female roe, and until the HW the helmets had ear pockets for elezen, miqo'te and lalafell. These days they just pretend the ears don't exist, making the miqo'te look weird even in the new mogstation outfit, and say there's no time, it's impossible, and bla bla bla.

You know what's worse? There are contests where the prize is Cloud's hair, or the Gaelicat hat.

I have participated in a few and have always chosen the hair from the options offered, and although I never won the award, I would be very angry at this point if I had won and lost the right to wear my hair, just because I switched to viera.

This situation is stupid, mainly because even with them gradually releasing old hair, the quality is ridiculously low, where vieras receive a giant forehead, and hrothgars lose their ears.

I suspect we'll get all the hairstyles at least I hope so. Personally I'm pretty happy with what we're getting for Viera at the moment and look forward to getting more with 6.2. I hope too at some point once female Horths are done that they can devote more time to actually giving us some headgear.

Male Horths on the other hand need some major fixing at this point given what they've been given doesn't appear to have made too many happy.
