Those look genuinely awful and the fact that the only "decent" one is a hairstyle you have to buy from the mogstation feels like a slap to the face. Almost three years being told to have patience and to wait only to receive THIS. A job that an intern could make in a week or less.

That doesn't sound right, there are images floating around where the hairstyle on Hrothgar bugged out and disappeared and the ears are still connected to the bald head. As opposed to Viera and Miqo'te where if you look at the bald model the ears are separated and float above the skull and only connect to the model by the hair.

I can attest to this. Its definitely not apart of the hair

If I'm reading this correctly, I think he's saying that Hrothgar were designed with the ears being a part of the HEAD. This is true, you can see images of Hrothgar with deleted/ bugged hair where they're bald and still have their ears.

BUT, to give them all these shared hairs without altering the hair too much, they had to change it and make the heads more uniform (so no 4 sets of ears on the hairline. So "hide the ears").

I'm 100% sure these are a new version of the Hrothgar heads that can't use the normal Hrothgar hair, but CAN use the shared hairs seen today and have their ears hidden.

Yes. Player mods are amazing, there is one that literally allows all viera to finally wear hats- and it looks quite good.

I really, REALLY hope the chosen hairs is a joke and we can all laugh at the next live letter when they show us the real hairstyles + ears.
