There's no thought process to Shinten either, you just hit it as soon as you get 25 gauge. Why not remove that and Kyuten? There's no thought process to Shoha, you just hit it as soon as you get 3 stacks of Meditation. Why not remove Shoha and Shoha II? There's no thought process to Guren and Senei, you just hit them as soon as they're off CD and you have 25 gauge. Why not remove them?

Nice attempt at comparison, but we both know that’s not the case. While there isn’t much thought to those abilities either, at least they do something.

The argument is that Samurai has button bloat. Of all the abilities to remove, Kaiten is one that does nothing other than buff a weapon skill, of which the only weapon skills that it is used for are IAI skills. It makes complete sense for them to remove the ability and roll the potency into the skills that it is solely used for.

You can think it requires thought all you want. I disagree. It’s flashy. That’s about it.

What do they do? Let you spend Kenki? Kaiten was already doing that. Give you more oGCDs to hit? Kaiten did that too. You could remove any of the skills I mentioned just like Kaiten and nothing would change with SAM's rotation.

I’ve ignored no points. I’ve made my point. Don’t worry, I’m not going to go over anything again. People want to keep Kaiten cause they like the animation, ultimately. All the other arguments are weak. They’re just hoping to whine about it loud enough so that the devs change their mind.

How do you know if you are the majority? Some people screeching on the forums? That says nothing. Good try at appealing to the masses.

It's more interesting and feels way more impactful being able to spend Kenki to buff your strongest attacks rather than just doing direct damage with Shinten. I just don't see what it is about Kaiten in particular that it needs to be the one on the chopping block, especially when others have pointed out plenty of other ways to reduce SAM's button bloat without cutting abilities.
