IMO it would have been much better to simply keep the rewards, so that anyone can work for them, even two years down the line. Everyone could then grind for the things they want, without the fear of being too late.
I understand the stance being taken here. But, tell me this: Is Future-proofing PvP content worth it in a competitive environment? I disagree. In a competitive environment there's always going to be winners and losers - and I believe they are wanting to push in a different direction away from Top 100(hope to god they don't surprise us with another "Top 100 Ranking" reward...that would absolutely turn people off). What they are trying to do is increase PvP engagement since their numbers have always been low outside of PvP community practice and events. GARO is going to push that incentive, same time as the Battle Pass. Two birds, one stone. It's easier for them to market it this way, but as I said: We need to analyze the progression system by itself first and make a determination on how fast progress is - because if it's really, really slow then obviously casual people like me when it comes to PvP are not going to have a good time with the system despite the rewards being the carrot(that Tank set especially).

One of the reasons why I think they won't keep the rewards indefinitely is partially caused by the development team - how much resources they are willing to pour into keeping this available without overwriting other resources, as well as keeping equipment relevant? They already have a ton of vendors for Wolf Marks, though they have a far different vendor entirely for Wolf Collars exclusively tied to Ranked.
