Wow, nice ad hominem attack there well done. I'd like to point out that YOU are the one that turned it into an attack on intelligence, not me, is someone triggered by their own projections perhaps?

What I was implying was that a pure RNG based system like a lottery, as opposed to a system that requires planning, effort and a genuine desire for the outcome such as FCFS, encourages everyone to have a go, because what are the odds right? So what is going to happen is that people who normally wouldn't bother with housing will take their chance and a LOT of them will win.

And when they take breaks, or don't enter the house often because they really weren't all that into housing in the first place, they will lose the house to auto demo. That's actually a positive aspect of the lottery since finding an auto demo house takes effort and interest and therefore people who aren't that interested in housing won't be patrolling the ward lists looking.

I'd like to note that it is always the lottery only people who seem to stoop to attacking individuals who have opposing opinion these threads, those of us who think a combination of FCFS and lottery have been quite civil. Think about that for a moment before you demonise us.

Allow me to gesture towards the very early conversation in this thread where those who were for the lottery were being called "greedy" simply for not wanting FCFS, and your own pointless rant about 60-70% of lottery winners not "understanding" how housing works.
