    My real problem (besides close-fitting hats with no accommodation whatsoever) is when they do add "ear socks" to hats but they're like a third of the size of the ears and possibly in the wrong position. It just looks silly, and uncomfortable if they are indeed getting their ears in there.

    For sure! I want to feel like our characters are wearing things they would actually wear and are designed for the comfort and protection of the race using it.
