"You pull, you tank" is a bad mentality

Ego has nothing to do with it. It just made tanking an uncomfortable and miserable experience. People who actually support this behavior shouldn't be surprised there aren't more tanks.

I don't tank anymore, that was the whole point. It simply wasn't worth it.

If dps/healer are pulling mobs you're going too slow as a tank

No i get the point. You've admitted you're not a good tank, and that's fine. There's lots of things in this game I'm not very good at. The problem is that you've shifted that blame onto literally everyone around you instead of internalizing it and either moving on with your day or getting better. Sitting in this thread and doing the textual equivalent of sticking your fingers in your ears and yelling "its everyone's fault but mine" is going to do nothing but make you look foolish. But maybe that's your goal. If so, congratulations.
