Their wish to live should come above Venat's wish for the sundering, because she has no right to decide for another person how they live their life, much less for an entire planet. Those other worlds want to die? Have at. But no one, not Meteion, not Venat, not those other worlds, have a right to tell the people of Amaurot that they don't have a right to live. That is their right to decide for themselves. Hermes was wrong too.
