    If you know that extra 600 MP is going to overheal then your target will still be fine without that Cure I. Cure II later (Assuming you have no lilies) when your target’s health drops lower. Cushion next few instances of damages by weaving in benison (It literally has the same potency as Cure I), or aquaveil, or hope for Assize coming off cooldown.

    Freecure has to go, or at least make Cure I worthy to use. ty_taurus once suggested a wonderful idea incorporating cleansing effect together to make them deserve a hotkey slot. I’d also throw in an additional effect on top that rewards player for actually cleansing something with this hypothetical “Curesuna” by restoring additional HP. Maybe 100-150 extra potencies? Or other examples like speed up lily generation, restore MP, grants damage buff, yada yada…… anything. At all. To make that button worthy to use appropriately.

    Benison doesnt heal, it's a shield with the potency of a Cure, just to make that clear tho!

    To be honest, Regen and Medica 2 are probably my most used heals as a WHM, together they can usually keep a tank alive from basic attacks from bosses but I do supplement them with Afflatus, Assize and Tetra when more healing is needed because of mechanics... Then if even more healing is required, then it goes to replacing Glares with Cures. Cure 2 would be the next step to escalate to.

    Also, Cure III being discussed a little... It does have some very niche uses, mostly revolving around stack mechanics as it's stronger than Medica... Every 3 Medicas could be replaced with 2 Cure IIIs for one less GCD, but at the cost of extra MP.

    It absolutely isn't.

    But sort of is because many people fall for it, so its a problem ON TOP of everything else.

    I WOULD be fine if whm stays the GCD healer, if they get rewarded for doing so.
    Yet, aoes cost more for 5 more yalms (hot is weaker than asts by a bit too)
    Misery is dps negative extremo because they are cowards...
    Yes, cast time longer
    Holy also being extremely long. One could excuse it on the stun, but it can still be a tiny bit shorter.

    And i know, i'm lurking a lot in the healer forums.

    It's just, people generally should know that WHM IS forgotten and you can like it (my main, played story on it etc) and it can still be garbage anyways.
    I think whm shouldnt have 1,5 cast time to make lillies weaving tool AND make misery dps positive, but like... thats also not the best option one could do.

    Just... people really should JUST compare the healers.
    ALL of them. And then they see, whm has NOTHING special and NOTHING to warrant their offglobals to be on such a massive cooldown compared to spammable ogcds others have...
