As the title suggests, please share your hot takes on XIV here. I'll go first. The music really isn't all that memorable outside a couple of tracks. I keep many other games' osts in rotation in my regular listening, but not XIV. Furthermore, often after I hear it once when content is new I'll flip the music off and just pull up something of Spotify or YouTube.

Wait-- hold on-- you're saying you don't find more than a couple of the music compositions memorable? You're implying that several more of Soken-sama's music is not memorable enough for you?

Of the compositions that I actually listen to outside of the game, those are basically ARR and 1.0 reuse such as Answer. Or they are from HW.

After my initial playthrough, in game music was off 99% of the time.
