I have a secret to tell. From my electrical well. It's a simple message and I'm leaving out the whistles and bells. So the room must listen to me Filibuster vigilantly. A huge THANK YOU!!!! For FINALLY selling the Meteor Survivor Polo on the store. AND a huge thanks to my friend who bought it for me while he was at Fan Fest!!! YES I finally have my POLO!!!
The number of people who do not take the stuff to the tank, but stand off in Narnia, or run around in circles outside of the tanks AoE, shows that is a lie. So many times I will see them stand way off, so the tank has to run over and grab them, or chase the person trying to kite the mobs, so that the melee have to chase after to keep attacking

Meanwhile in vc discord
"Look at this Sage, what is he doing?" *All guild members start laughing their ass off and proceed to comm the healer.*
Healing DRK is literally... the same since ShB. The reason why people think it's a meme to heal nowadays because DRK receives very little to no buff to their sustainability vs 3 other tanks getting something useful. If you're capable of healing DRK back in ShB (or any tanks), then you'll heal EW DRK just fine.
Dungeon spammed my Sage from 71 to 81 and I see a pattern with tanks: they're either netflix afking, face pulling one pack and then doing their single target 123, not using mitigation or they're little gods that pull everything they can find, barely take damage and help melt everything.
No inbetween.
Unforunately I had more of the former than the latter and none of them appeared to be new or returners, not with several mid 80s/ 90s.
I don't know what it is with face pulling lately but the majority of tanks I met in ShB leveling dungeons did that; I've rarely seen anyone charge in or use their ranged attack and aoe right away, they just run in. Which is not a problem in itself because the dps and I usually stuck to their butt so they'd get aggro back easily - but since everything made a beeling for the party, the tank stood there in confusion for a bit and then spend 3-5 GCDs standing there and trying to get aggro back. By then, I've seen Dotons, Leylines, party buffs and so on and then they decided to pull the next pack aswell.
But there was this little god in Qitana. Nice wall to walls, went for the megapull if possible, mitigated so well I didn't need a single GCD heal, always made sure to wiggle as little as possible with the mobs, stunned mobs that cast a big pointblank, used their party mitigation, used their targeted mitigation for things like tether on last boss.
They were a joy to have around. I wrote in party chat that I was gld to be matched up with such a good tank and the rest chimed in, complimenting them and saying that the entire party was great and they're having a blast.
DF blessed me with a wonderful party, now it's back to facepulling no mitigation tanks that netflix afk for the next few weeks.
joined a limited levelling roulette PF, only needed a tank which I needed to level - everything's fine and dandy
first pull, everything is dying agonizingly slow but I don't think much of it, it's quasi DF, after all
but then I see the health of the bard, half of the other DPS and healer and I check their gear, everything but their weapon is lvl 1 glam gear, which confusely point out and they... cry emote and leave???
I thought at first that it was on accident, but the PF leader said they joined as DRG and only before the ready check changed to BRD, so it might've been on purpose? weird, tbh
edit: looking back at the recording; THEY GLAMMED SOMETHING OVER THE GLAM GEAR... WHY.

Pffff there is some truth here!
Now I am wondering how many thought I had lost the mind when moving Kardia around constantly. What, tis amazing free ogcd heal for anyone who oopsied mechanics on five second cool down and the warrior keeps healing themselves anyways.
Well I said should know. People not knowing the basics and just running around like mad or staying in narnia is not a problem related to healer putting on regen. The number of people who do not take the stuff to the tank, but stand off in Narnia, or run around in circles outside of the tanks AoE, shows that is a lie. Last night decided to forgo leveling another job and did trial roulette as RPR. Got the level 89 trial, 8min in prog. Figured it was a one wipe and someone left, so thought it couldn't be that bad. Only after about 5min of fighting did I realize nobody(especially the two with the markers over their head) knew what they were doing, and also noticed one of the tanks had much lower HP than the other. The cause? Full augmented Cryptlurker gear....no upgrades period. Not even the free level 89 gear you are forced to go meet the vendor for prior to the trial and preceding dungeon. There were a LOT of deaths in there, we didn't wipe after we were actually fighting...but it took forever to kill. Saw all three weapon forms and right back to the chakrams during the final faze....called it a night after that.
Ran Brayflox's Longstop the other day as a White Mage. Got grouped with a Dark Knight, Dragoon, and Summoner.
Immediately noticed the Dragoon had more HP than the Dark Knight. Dark Knight was wearing no accessories except Menphina's Earring.
Dark Knight apparently did not know what Unleash was for because not once did they use their AoE the entire run. I spent more time healing myself and the DPS on the trash packs. At least they had their tank stance on.
We cleared up to the door to the first boss, then the tank waited there while me and the DPS cleared the pack blocking the goblin with the key. First boss went about as expected... healing the Summoner while he tanked all the adds.
At least the pulls were small...up until after the second boss when the tank decided to pull everything between there and the third boss. I immediately died because, again, tank doesn't know what AoE is for so I got aggro on everything. At least that was our only wipe.
And of course, on the final boss the Dark Knight just tanked the boss in the poison, prolonging the fight as dragon was healing. Poor Dragoon couldn't attack without taking damage.

Did anyone tell him about Unleashed or no? If yes and no improvements, I would've kicked himRan Brayflox's Longstop the other day as a White Mage. Got grouped with a Dark Knight, Dragoon, and Summoner.
