I rerolled recently and when I hit max my work only just begins. I love endwalker, and I think I’ll be here long term.
See? Opinions, I got one too!

From a consumer standpoint I'm very satisfied with what I got for the price. The MSQ alone was worth it.
I'm sorry you feel that way, OP.
Perhaps next time considering resub at the end of expansion where you can do every content available at once.

Hey OP, I am not sure whether this is your first expansion or not, but this is usually how it goes in terms of the content in an expansion upon launch. We'll be getting a content roadmap for the rest of the expansion with more details soon. I completely understand that it definitely felt lackluster in terms of content, but that's pretty much how it's always been at the start of every expansion, then every few months they start adding more. The cost of the expansion includes what's yet to be added. This expansion is a complete ripoff. What have we actually paid for besides 14 hours of cinema and a whole lot of the same thing we already had?
Was the story good? Yes, minus the plot holes. I'm not saying the movie wasn't of great quality, I'm saying I didn't get to play my character more than 5 minutes at a time until I hit 90. At which point I was handed a free set of 90 gear I didn't need because the game/story line ended when I hit 90.
I agree and think your point is valid. I would love to get a get a beefy chunk of content along with the base expansion at its release but I also get ehy they don'tdo that. This expansion had way longer CS than the previous ones as it was the culmination of an 11 year story so we def had a lot less things to do in between, which I personally didn't mind but that's only my opinion.
It may be worth waiting next time maybe until at least the first major patch before purchasing the newest expansion if you want to immediatelyhave plenty to do, or watching / reading any official Live Letters and Patch Notes to have a good idea of how much content to expect.
Obviously the bait is low quality here but since every other thread in these forums are unmoderated and purely trolly, I'll go with it.
Endwalker is an entire RPG game in itself. You're paying for a full game inside a trilogy. That's what FF14 is, a trilogy.
There may have been 14hrs of cinematics, I don't know I didn't count but that's pretty amazing considering people pay $30 just to go watch a movie at a cinema for 2 hours. There's a buttload of content and the amount of work put into the expansion is pretty phenomenal. I was impressed with the music, camera, and just about everything else with this expansion. Some people preferred Shadowbringers as an expansion but it's hard to ignore the amount of quality work that was put into this expansion. I have played a lot of other MMOs and FF14 is the only MMO that I have ever played where the expansions were jammed pack with content. There aren't other games where an expansion pack is a complete game.

Can't really say I disagree.
Hence the honest trailer video.
It's more of the same. It's like getting Linkin Park hybrid theory 5 times. Like it's fine bit they really need to grow at some point.
Dungeons need a rework in difficulty. Multiple modes.
Raids need new mechanics and possibly more players to utilize more add mechanics. Dispel and Interupts should be reintroduce. We can handle it were big boys.
The one thing about wow is it does try new stuff much of it fails but it's time for this game to start adding harder content more then an ultimate every ? Months. The player base has gotten better while the difficulty has remained the same.

The name Everquest brings back memories of corpse runs, hell levels and trains when they followed you to the zone line *blood runs cold*Can't really say I disagree.
