Was the story good? Yes, minus the plot holes. I'm not saying the movie wasn't of great quality, I'm saying I didn't get to play my character more than 5 minutes at a time until I hit 90. At which point I was handed a free set of 90 gear I didn't need because the game/story line ended when I hit 90.

Two 90 dungeons and 4 raid bosses. No new story arc. Boss mechanics are reskins of the same stuff we've been doing for ten years. Go stand over here during this, go stand over there during that. Always stay in motion because that's the only idea the devs seem to be capable of.

The firmament opened over 2 years ago, yet the neighborhood is still absent. So all this gil is useless, as is crafting because of the broken economy. Am I the only one who finds it offensive that valuable server space was wasted on the Firmament and Diadem instead of just expanding the existing neighborhoods? Or that SE somehow made it our job in-game to do extra chores to somehow EARN new disk space? I'm 100% positive that nothing I do in cyberspace creates hard drives in real life. And since I can look up subscription numbers and profits online, I have to ask the question of where the hell all those record profits are actually going.

It's not our job as consumers to jump through hoops and suffer distraction after distraction just to get the features this game advertises but can't deliver. If there isn't ALWAYS a lot of each size for sale, and I mean ALWAYS, EA isn't delivering on their end of the business/consumer arrangement. Especially when so many features and items require owning a house.

In my mind, this will always be the company that couldn't deliver from here on out.

ITT: OP fails to pay attention to official release schedules, live letters and standard content cycles, then complains when things release at their scheduled time rather than all at once and have the scope they were expected to have by everyone who did pay attention.

I dunno, the average single player game price is around 60 USD, this game can be purchased for, I think, 40+12 (if I count the 1 month game time if you want to play only the story)?

There are patches that have not yet came out with story not yet played aka remaining parts of the raids. I thought they were always releasing their content like this. But I am not sure.

Also, I think they mentioned that there will be a new "personal islands" that will solve the housing issue. Hope this is true.

Perhaps you could wait a bit. Or what I usually do when I don't know if I really want to play is that I buy game time instead of "sub". This means I can just drop off for a few month and come back for another if I want to.

Until the next patch in a few months. Launch patches are always sparse on endgame because SE doesn't want people to feel like they have to rush the story to get to it.

Dune 2021 - 2 hours and 35 minutes. So, 14 hours of expansion is 5.95 films, let's say 6 films. Cost of 6 Dune 2021 tickets at the cinema, Let's say $10 each;

so US$60 for 14 hours of cinema vs 14 hours of expansion, US$40

You've gotten 14 hours of entertainment for twenty bucks cheaper than the cinema. And you didn't need to pay outrageous concession prices on top.
