The game has been unplayable for almost 2 weeks now. No matter what I do, 204.2.229.230 drops packets like crazy. WinMTR is showing anywhere from 50 to 70% packet loss. Using a VPN doesn't help, because the route always goes through the Sacramento/San Jose NTT hops, and then to 204.2.229.230 (which I assume is part of the data center) and then to Aether at 204.2.229.9. I tried to file a support ticket but just got a generic response telling me to clear my IE browser history (what does that have to do with anything??)

This happens multiple times a year, and it's so ridiculous that Square Enix and NTT just refuse to even acknowledge it, much less fix it.
