NO. I hate this. I hate it in game. I hate it in real life. Quit taking accountability away. Continuing to push society to avoid any sort responsibility for performance. All in the name of inclusion and not making someone “feel bad”.
This thread is full of people who don't touch hard content, further psyching themselves out of doing content they probably never intended to do in the first place. It's really weird honestly.
If content has serious requirements, you reasonably need to meet those requirements before doing it, otherwise you will be unfairly burdening the team you are joining. I don't understand some of these arguments which amount to "I should be allowed to be carried, and no one should be allowed to know that I'm the one causing the group to struggle". If people spent some of the energy they spend complaining about getting "gatekept" actually improving their play, they wouldn't have to worry about being gatekept out of hard content.
It's a video game. Lol
Don't like the party, find a new one. It really is that simple mate.
Or break T&C's and get banned, I am happy either way.
But if you're sweating that hard, go find a static that sweats just as much. You talk about personal responsibility, yet you take none. Its on you to find a team that operates to your 'standards' and if PF isn't doing it, get a static.
Trying to dictate how others play their own game is absolutely absurd...think about it.
Oh, they can play however they want. Just not with me or in my party. It's a video game. Lol

The issue is - is that casuals often label that as ‘gatekeeping’ and inherently ‘toxic’. I’m not sure if this was in this thread - or another - but someone even tried to tell us kicking certain players from our pre-made parties would get us ToS’d. Another person said we shouldn’t label ourselves as ‘pillars of the community’ just because we set our own personal boundaries.
But...you never have to come into contact with these filthy casuals you speak of outside of MSQ activities. The issue is - is that casuals often label that as ‘gatekeeping’ and inherently ‘toxic’. If you are using Duty Finder to try and complete high end content with DPS checks etc then you have no right to be salty or try to dictate to others how to play, for obvious reasons. That's on you.
Otherwise, you're presumably in a static or at least checking PF for experienced groups running clears/farms.
I do not see the issue here. Seems like a few people with high opinions of themselves ragging on the vaaast majority of this games player base when, in priciniple, they shouldn't even be playing with them (outside of MSQ activities) lol
This is the issue. PF groups are where people are joining groups that they really shouldn't in. I'm pretty someone who hasn't even zoned into P3S shouldn't be joining a prog party that is working on tornadoes. If people are joining DF for high end stuff, then I agree that is on them. However, if the group in PF says they aren't bringing that new person, they are considered "toxic' and "gatekeeping" that new player.Otherwise, you're presumably in a static or at least checking PF for experienced groups running clears/farms.

I find it funny how every time there is a demand parsers thread it always puts proof to why they should not be implemented.
