I assume the buff is for when you're out of range due to mechanics. If it was for pulling it doesn't really need to be buffed
You're more than welcome to laugh, but logs so far have proven true, Warrior de-syncs on the raid buffs if you open Tomohawk on current Skill Speed.
Melees will begin GCDs half way through yours before you can heavy swing, and you want final buffed Infuriate in the window just as they drop off.

even by pulling with tomahawk, i'm synch with raid buff, i dunno what you're talking about. And i roll with 2,50 gcd. You're more than welcome to laugh, but logs so far have proven true, Warrior de-syncs on the raid buffs if you open Tomohawk on current Skill Speed.

it must be a clipping issue or connection from your side if you can't fully burst inside melee buff window.
as far from what i see, any MT warrior pull with tomahawk on logs, especially when you play with a nin doton prepull in your static, if you pull with provoke which doesn't build enmity, it is a risk a caster or a range take agro in the meanwhile you're waiting for the boss to come close.
But i agree, when you're OT warrior, there is no reason to throw tomahawk as an opener.

They changed Provoke in ShB, it doesn't just put you 1 above the highest in aggro but builds Enmity aswell, how much I don't know exactly but it's enough to make pulling with provoke work. Thats why it's also very noticable when you tank swap, if your swap partner has no tank stance for voke his lead will be very miniscule.even by pulling with tomahawk, i'm synch with raid buff, i dunno what you're talking about. That being said, the gain for a face pull over tomahawk opener is also very little we're talking about not even single digit percent here. It might make a difference between that 99-100 parse but thats it.

TBF it won't change the fact i'll still pull with tomahawk since i have a nin, 150 potency is better than loosing a gcd waiting for the boss.
mb
No longer the case, you can get extremely close to current Raid bosses, specially P1S you're right next to him, run straight in for a Voke then Heavy Swing. You'll be in melee range 1/4 of your GCD cooldown, and Inner Release/GCDs will be uptimed better on Embolden. Also yeah Provoke generates roughly 5% enmity.
Edit: Currently raid bosses are already close to the middle, P3S has to remain north for a time being, only P4S part 2 you can consider using Tomohawk to position it correctly. P2S? Positionals doesn't matter that much, boss is unique.
