Tanking has been made bad proof, yet people still be bad. Tankiety is myth, and tanking is the easiest role in the game.

Thats like me saying depression is a myth because I have never suffered it. Thats not how the world works. It might work that way in your little bubble in your head darlin, but thats not how it is in the real world. I have never had tankiety or healxiety, but like like any form of nerves, or anxiety it exists for people weither you want to acknowledge it or not.
Glorious assessment. I would like more than once if possible.Thats like me saying depression is a myth because I have never suffered it. Thats not how the world works. The trouble is that it does exist, but there's no way to confirm that someone's actually having a medical level problem with it via in game text. It's something that the majority of the people claiming that they experience it are lying about. Why? Because they think it'll shield them or get them pity points.
Anxiety, depression, and many other mental disorders are disabilities that people wave around proudly these days, even if they aren't actually diagnosed(proven) to have them.
Which wouldn't be an issue, EXCEPT, far too many people use these undiagnosed disabilities, that they are proud of, as an excuse for shitty behavior. Or as a tool to manipulate others to condone/accept/approve of shitty behavior. Or in this case, crappy play. If you learn your job, then your nervousness about it will dissipate.
Of course, then we run into the even softer folk who complain that they have to learn how to play. Demanding that the rest of the world change to suit them. That's really not how the world works. Nor should it be.
If you want stability of mind, then it has to come from within. Far easier to change the self than it is to attempt to manipulate millions of other people to treat towards your personal whims. Cause if you can't even change yourself, then what chance have you really got at changing other people?

"I thought that my invincible power would hold the world captive, leaving me in a freedom undisturbed. Thus night and day I worked at the chain with huge fires and cruel hard strokes. When at last the work was done and the links were complete and unbreakable, I found that it held me in its grip." - Rabindranath Tagore
I know players who clear Ultimates who have Tanxiety. Tanking is easy, but tanxiety is real. It is not necessarily a rational phenomenon, and it is almost never rooted solely in gameplay confidence. There are other layers to what causes rather good players, or average players, or even new and less skilled players to all feel this same feeling.
I have tried to get all sorts of people to work through their tanxiety, and each case is different.
Also, you're unkind and generally all of your posts are unkind and somewhat hateful.
Tankxiety is easy to cure. Just don't tank. I'll wait in the queue a little longer for a tank that isn't scared of tanking, thanks.
No, the only way to cure tanxiety is for that person to just do more tanking. Its like getting a shot.
How about stop with this discouraging attitude, be less of a Dilbert and just be more supportive of people whom are trying to learn to tank so that we can get more and better tanks in this game? Tanking is not hard. Dealing with people who have this attitude towards you like what you're showing is and I know we shouldnt try to encourage "special snowflakes" and some folk need to just get over it but we can try to act like rational decent human beings once and practice hard what this game preaches sometimes.
If they're <60 as a tank (generously new) then I'll be supportive. Above that I'd rather they not queue. No, the only way to cure tanxiety is for that person to just do more tanking. Its like getting a shot.

Had a mentor absolutely lose their marbles when I lost control of one mob in a single pull in a dungeon.
Attitudes like this, that any mistake at all is intolerable, that anything but perfect gameplay all the time is unacceptable, is definitely making me want to stop queueing, so mission accomplished I guess?
