and someone hasty handing like i am doing for the luminaries have to be active every synth and it's closer to 100 per hour. i just don't want to deal with having to stand up every 10 minutes when i am trying to get a good day worth of grind in.and thats 2 hours between each check a turbo crafter has to do to see if hes standing up
a standard spammer does 50-60 synths an hour, just think about that fact right there, and base what should happen on it
100 synths is like saying you can go 2 hours straight without moving with your bot before you have to go check on it and restart it....thats too long
set it low, 20, 30 even, thats 20 to 30 minutes tops right there, which whilew it may seem inconvenient, isnt as bad as you think

this is the german version.[dev1310] Wenn man ein einziges Rezept mehrmals hintereinander ausführt, wird die Synthese nach bestimmter Zeit einmal abgebrochen.
same deal, but it says that it will be interrupted only once.
whatever that means, it's not a bot prevention.
they can just stand up/sit down after a set amount of crafts and keep on going.
or switch the craft when the limit is reached.
in the long run this will punish honest players rather than botters.
rather hire some useful GMs with the money we pay to prevent botting than this.i can't support such decisions if they were merely made to prevent botting...
your already going fast, whats the extra 5-10 seconds every hour or so gonna really matter to you?
youll see it when it happens anyway so you just instantly sit right back down

You can't trust an automized system to ban people, there will ALWAYS be exceptions and you cannot underestimate the dedication some people have... You could go and say that everyone with a Luminary is a botter but I know for certain there are people that do 7-8 hour crafting sessions themselves, at the computer the entire time.
Hell I've fished for more than 6 hours straight once. It can happen.
What is this presumptuous garbage you puked all over me?
Dunno how many times I had to go warp2 people who got stuck in whitegate fountain, only one ever got a warning. Alexander server people never got banned, JP/NA running as fast as me while on PLD/BLM/WHM while I'm on NIN with AF boots to tiamat/cerberus/khim etc.
Getting slightly offtopic but to get back on topic, I doubt there any real concern from them about craft botting cause it's mostly a gil/time sink anyway!
well i mentioned 100 because it is an hour. you stated you wanted the number around 10 and that would be less than every 5 minutes. every hour is fine....every 5 min is not.

I don't think it was presumptuos at all. I was just talking about automated bans in general, as they tend to never really work out perfectly.
I'm in agreement with the people that say they should just hire more GMs, but I doubt that's very high on their list of priorities right now.
It depends on how it interrupts, it could interrupt via server (Think Fishing fatigue from FFXI.)Bit silly tho still, cuse you can get around it.
Move window so you can see your guy, hot key crafting button on ur gamepad (xpadder), then watch a movie or something with ur turbo on and when he goes up from interruption, u just hit ur recraft hotkey, char crafts again.
Wasted + Pointless work SE have done, will just annoy people who dont bot/turbo.
