Just the original character design, though the body would be in real detail in the same way a converting computer graphics to photorealistic imagery is. No clipping, nothing like that, just a real flesh and blood body based on the digital image of the character.

Feel free to assume various sliders are a given. If you imagine your character having more junk in the trunk, then it would. The avatar is a representation of the essence of a body, so it's reasonable to say part of the "reality" of the body accounts for mental images of the character as it would be when incarnated.

Sure. I'd do it, no fantasia. But I would definitely *not* do the adventurer thing! The death, the danger... but also, think how many quests involve dissecting body parts from various creatures... no thank you! Nope. Just a mundane townie job for me, maybe at a shop or something. Or, I've always loved music, maybe learn an instrument and become an entertainer. (And maybe I'd actually do some writing without internet and video games as constant distractions. Heh. :P )

if thats the case then yes. Sure i'll miss some parts of this world, but what I'd get in return would be more beneficial after the initial adjustment period.

For me at least, taller Au ra ladies (at least 6 feet tall) and a more toned appearance. Expanded chest slider too since pretty much every woman I know irl that are the current auri female height range or taller have substantially more there

There would undoubtedly be more of course if we extend it. New haircuts for example.

I would stay as I am now, a 187.9cm Viera towering over the humes. Also, the idea of living for 200+ years? Sounds great to me. New Gridania would still be my main hangout point - there's just something about that place I find so comforting..

Me too! Even if the professions in Gridania weren't the ones I prefer, which surprisingly they all are (except CUL), I'd move there. It's amazing how closely everything about Gridania/Black Shroud; from races to professions to aesthetic to environment match me IRL. I would be 200% content making my home there and spending the rest of my life running a general store and helping out the Wood Wailers here and there.

I would probably keep my character but instead of adventuring (since healing doesn't work the same way)... I would probably go study in Sharlayan. Those quarters are pretty nice.

Plus, the silly politics of Eorzea are petty.

Are you sure you'd want to give up all the job progression and economic resources of your main when being a Miqo'te is just a Fantasia away? Consider how much relative Eorzea time it's taken you to level as high and make the money you have. Do you really think you could make that up in actual Eorzea Time?

1 year ET = 18 days 16 hrs RT. If you've got 50 days /playtime that's 50 days / 18.6 RT days per year ET or 2.678 years ET. I'd rather chug a Fantasia than give up nearly three years of ET that I was able to safely do all that dangerous stuff in while I was on this side of the monitor.

20. Ilm = Centimeter, Yalm = Meter, Malm = Kilometer; METRIC, BABY! Yes, that means you'd have to make Royales with Cheese and not Quarter Pounders.

IF only magic was real, and this kind of stuff happened, because Eorzea would be a nice place to live, for the most part. And frankly, I love how my characters all look, and when making them, and their fashion I always consider if they were a real person.


As to Metric, no, Ilm, Yalm, and Malm are not based on any measure on Earth, Metric is not magically superior to other measures no matter the propaganda, it's used because International Business wanted one system, and Scientists agreed with Business and started using it mostly. Also if Eorzea's measurements were based on anything it would be the Traditional Japanese measuring system, aka shakkanhō (尺貫法).
