Isekai + Fantasia?

That's why I put it in there. Since it would be a truly Real World for us, there would be real world consequences for actions. I can't help but wonder about all the G.I.R.Ls out there logging in to a female body. Would there be rampant gender dysphoria and accidental pregnancies from various experimentations? Then again, what would the sex life of the average G.I.R.L be like if they're still 100% mentally how they are now? Being a straight man, how would being in a female body impact my sex life? Would I effectively be a lesbian since I'm attracted to women and not men in the real world? On top of that, would I be so afraid of getting pregnant that I'd be celibate? Would my desires change over time to reflect female physiology instead of male?

I've recently rolled a female alt and things like this are something I think of a lot when playing her.

Having changed race since this thread started, I might be tempted to change to one without a tail just for convenience's sake. I'd probably be catching it in doors all the time. Not to mention chairs.....

Being a woman isn't just a thought experiment for me. If I could be born again in a cool magical world I'd want to be a guy instead of someone who has to think about consequences.

I'd probably switch to being my "Richard" Alt before logging in, since he's closer to me in physicality.

That said: There is a quandry I have about the "rules" of this thought experiment.

6. Eorzea is continuous and of the actual size represented by the map, there are no zones to enter or leave.

10. You will be able to purchase a house if you want as long as you can find land to build on. Adventurer neighborhoods don't have the arbitrary limitations they do now. If you want to live in the NPC neighborhoods (wherever they are) you can do that too.

If the former rule is true, would the adventurer neighbourhoods not be more restrictive? Like, as a game they're incredibly restrictive, and I say this as a person with a house. But if the geography were "real" then you wouldn't have some twenty neighbourhoods layered on top of one another.

That said, if your rule about being in good standing with all the people we helped (despite not being the WOL) finding a plot of land outside the adventurer neighbourhoods would be much easier than it needs to be. (ignoring the millions of other people that are in good standing with the various nation heads looking for land)

Personally, I'd be more interested in being isekai'd to the beginning of the plot. It'd be interesting to see how far off the rails the world would go with so many people suddenly showing up that know the plot.

I’d be as I am, a Highlander Scholar and Bard, wise and silly at the same time. I’d make my home in Gridania, focused on researching new spells and writing music based on other peoples adventures. Id be friends with the bard that offers extreme trials. Forgot his name.
