    Actually you can be synced down from 570 (or whatever) to 130 with max stats and if people don't know mechanics, you'll probably still die. Item Level has nothing to do with it.

    I honestly prefer to say things like... "Wait for everyone before you pull at Atomos" in LOTA or "Please always stand in a tower" for Cloud of Darkness than letting the raid run as a fiesta. You'd be surprised what short sentences like that can do for a newbie who hasn't seen some of the mechanics introduced in the tower.
