You're the noisy minority nothing more, considering the number of people complaining it must not even be 5% of FFXIV players in the world.

There's an equal amount of unhappy people I assure you. They're just not vocal, enough. Either because of a language barrier or anxiety issues, etc.

This job has been in a steady decline since 3.0, there's virtually nothing good about a job that exchanges gameplay and identity for simplicity. In my opinion.

Either way, you don't need a majority to win any kind of 'battle'. It only needs to be enough people that point out illogical decisions made by the developers to bring the topic attention. The rest will follow, provided they actually play the job and understand why we deserve better - which we do.

Stalwart Soul and Dark Missionary not being available at lvl70 is shit.

I can't fathom how they did not fix that given GNB has clone of this skill at lvl 64. As long as ultimates at lvl 70/80 exist some semblance of balance on these levels will always be relevant, you can't just backload skills at highest levels and call it a day.

As someone who basically had to stop playing this game because of how gutted I felt about what they did to DRK in Stormblood ( I did come back after, of course) ... and then doubled down on twice in SHB and endwalker.... i can only cosign this and hope the community will actually be heard on this

I'm the same actually. Fell in love with HW, quit in SB due to story and DRK design. Came back in SHB and decided to stay for story but EW didn't take us anywhere.

It feels like the job got caught in a state of entropy.

Considering how active we have been in the forum and the overall reactions about DRK status compared to other jobs/stuff of the game in the last years this basically could be in great part aimed to us, in other words it's probable the current sad state of DRK gameplay experience could be like that bcs we have been so rude they choose to don't adress anything and keep the line bcs of it, independent of how much that could feed back the frustration and rudeness against them.
Idk what to think to be honest, i understand they posture but at the same time i don't find it to be a proper solution either if that is actually the reason DRK gameplay is so horrible right now, it could have been fixed if they have posted in our threads telling us our feedback is being to rude and they would ignore it bcs of it way more sooner, not only we would see them interacting with us and we see they read us and correct our manners way more early they could have prevented the current levels of animosity against them.

This tbh. The reason many people have become rude in their comments is because they're frustrated at being ignored for so long. I don't think it's particularly fair to use this as an "excuse", while not bothering to ever answer people in here or even just moderate the forums by issuing warnings when people get too heated. Or banning some of the extremely notorious General Discussion trolls...

That said if they've noticed people being rude, then maybe they are indeed reading, so that's some hope perhaps..?

I would have thought the civil thing to do would be to actually acknowledge the bits of feedback that they do recieve every once in a while, and talking about how they plan on resolving the issues. I still haven't seen any mention that they're working on the latency issue with Blood Weapon, or that they understand that there are longstanding design and balance issues with Living Dead. If the development team spends five years ignoring complaints, they absolutely deserve the backlash. If anything, part of the reason why they're fine with letting feedback here be ignored is because it's safely out of sight from the broader community, while the social media front that they put up seems much more pristine.

I'm happy to give praise where it's due. The story is fantastic. If they're genuinely serious about making this game better and not simply trying to score points on how they're better than Blizzard in interviews, they should be more than happy to take these suggestions on board and work with the community to find solutions. Work for your positive review.

So staff members have received our feedback. Thats great news. But our concerns about BW and Living Dead have been received but devs dont have a good solution for changing this or they dont see it as a priority considering DRK is one of the most played tanks.

I think the biggest question is why have they not addressed our concerns or at least acknowledge Living Dead.

Remember in an interview about DRK Yoshi P stated he didnt know there was a problem with blood weapon.

Though I aggree with the issue of strong language, too often some (heck, i do it too when i get heated) resort to insulting or calling devs incompetent. Which honestly doesn't really achieve anything.

From a stream that has been host today betwen yoship and other members, they have talked about some stuff including some of the balance they are going to do (not mentioning DRK at all as usual but saying that's doesn't mean no other jobs are going to se changes), you can find the translation on Reddit discord.
