sorry but a weekly cap isnt FOMO cause you dont miss out on the gear if you skip farming for x time
the gear will be there and once the tomestone rotates out it is still available but for sacks of nuts/clan centurio from hunts instead.

Sorry, but all artifical caps are FOMO because you can never catch up them if you miss one. IMHO those caps should be removed and the devs should give the players the choice how much tombstones the want to farm.
Cheers
You're looking at this exactly backwards.
The weekly cap means that, with respect to the tomestones, people who no-life the game and people who have lives outside of the game are on a par. People can run some roulettes/etc. here and there throughout the week and cap tomestones and 'keep up' in that sense.
While the forums/reddit/discord likely bias toward no lifers, I would suggest that the player base as a whole strongly biases toward the other end of the spectrum. That being said, EX, savage, etc. offer alternative gearing paths for people who want to do that content to 'get ahead' of the weekly tomestone cap. All in all, I find the mix of capped tomestones giving good gear over time and savage giving better gear faster to be a good mix for different sorts of players.

besides having a weekly cap of the new tomes capped at 450, which I find stupid (just my opinion), I also wonder why doing a 24 man raid or an 8 man raid gives us fewer tomes than the normal max leveled dungeons??

FOMO Fear Of Missing Out
are you missing out on anything no
therefore this is more of an I wanna have everything right now
at most it is a time gate/time sink
