Would be nice to finally get some Curly/Afro hairstyles included into the game

Most games I played that allow character customisation have little to no afro hairstyles. And often the little that was there was just one big 70's afro or one with dreadlocks. Any hair type or culture around it can hardly be represented by just one style. Certainly I wouldn't feel represented if the only straight hair available was literally one style. So yea I suppose no one uses them because there usually is too little choice to be truly appealing.

No offence but that’s nonsense, i’ve never heard such rubbish in my life, that’s like basically saying people with curly/wavy/messy/afro hair don’t play videogames, what on earth are you talking about, i would love to see these “statistics”. Please if you don’t want the hairstyles in the game just say lol.

I think GW2 has done a good job with adding some nice variety to their character creation.









For better or worse, I don't see SE really changing their tune much as far as character/hair design goes, but it never hurts to keep pushing the request.

YES, thank you for posting that. GW2 really nailed it imo. With the current variety of hair the game has, especially with some unique ones for races in the game, I think this is something SE could do.

I just don't know what would tickle their buttons into making them do it. Some of the hair, I believe, come into fruition due to some contests. Maybe if one catches their eye, it could be a dream come true.

Big curls would be extremely appreciated.

Heck - even just WAVY hair would be nice. Nearly all of the hair in game is stick straight. Not a single beach wave or curl to be found for malms.

There's nothing bad about someone mentioning their race. They were speaking about how relative it is to them to have hair that represents them. It shouldn't even bother you enough to make a post about it.

I know it shouldn't but it does. Just like my family members that have a flag on their car. I get you are proud to be what you are I get it is cool. It just irks me probably because I am around it all the time. Things can bother people no need to agree with it.or even respect it for that. Just like I tell my family I do not see much reason to be proud or protective of something you legit had no control over. That is just me though.

Generally why it is called a pet peeve it person dependent.

Historical context, basically. The generation prior was discriminated against for how they were born - so it's inevitable that in a more tolerant society they openly embrace traits that were formerly viewed as ugly, inferior, etc.

I think you're talking to someone who doesn't know how it feels to be shunned for simply being born as something they cannot change. They won't ever understand. You're wasting your time.
