Oh I don't doubt that for a minute. The problem is if I don't always queue with people I know (I can't always do that), I'm pretty much guaranteed to run a dungeon that pushes me to my absolute limit. On one hand it's exhilarating. On the other I'm carrying the tank or whoever that can't manage to understand simple mechanics or mitigate properly. The odds of me doing a random dungeon with people I don't know and not feel like I'm pushing myself are incredibly low.

Eh you aren't wrong. I ran the same dungeon today ..or yesterday my time to get a top. EW dungeon, I'll leave it at that cause spoilers. First tank did a wall to wall. Aight. Dropped like a sack of popotos and we nearly wiped (only I lived but I managed to res the tank and keep him alive long enough for the dps to run back). At first I thought it was me but no I was popping all my ogcds. And had to dip into my gcds (all while juggling cards and dps). Ok. Odd. I decided to look a bit closer.

He... didn't use his CDs correctly from what I've seen. I saw his invuln pop but I didn't see much of his mit cds unless it was on the boss. Maybe I over looked something but that was my take.

Second tank was... inexperienced but she did fine to me. All she needed was some fine tuning.

Third tank kept apologising but they were a DREAM. Had 0 issues healing. You were awesome my guy!

Last tank I remember was also good. They invulned when they needed to. Cycled cds. Wall to walled awesome.

The only tank right now I consistantly never need to heal is a well geared WAR... but I've barely seen the other 3, DRK especially.

I'm tired of being told to wait for post-patches and expansions for fixes and increased healing requirements that are never coming. Healers are not fun in all forms of content like all jobs should be, they're replaced by tanks and dps due to low healing requirements and their dps kit is small for 0 reason, when in the past we had more options and handled things just fine. I refuse to play healer in roulette come DT. I refuse to heal EXs, I refuse to go into Savage, and I am boycotting Ultimate.

That's really funny because that's always my experience as well. It's the really good or at least competent tanks that are the first to apologize when 9 times out of 10 I'm feeling really good about what they're putting out.

That just sounds like the Dunning Kruger effect. It happens to anyone and everyone.

Healers have no problem soloing any dungeons, provided that you have the patience for it. There's no enrage timer. Dungeon boss can't do anything to healers. You don't even need to put shields on yourself to survive tankbusters.
Have you actually tested your claims? Do you have anything to cite that confirms this? I don't think you do.

If you did you'd know that The Dead End Peacekeeper's Elimination tank buster hits for 50k+ on a caster without mitigation. As AST I can survive one with literally everything on myself. I can't survive two back to back because I need both Neutral Sect and CI to survive the hit+auto or I just get one shot.

    Source to confirm

Twist and argue my words all you want, just stop spreading your lies as gospel. Thanks

Honestly, part of the issue for me is that most heals are boring. Some heals are fun- I like Earthly Star...collective unconscious is cool.. it's kind of fun. This game is so bland with direct heals or shields that there isn't a ton of variation in heal styles that make healing actually fun. I can think of some other games with heals that were pretty fun to use. Prayer of Mending in WoW was great, Hymn of whatever in WoW was a fun channeled smart heal.... In Everquest 2 reactives were really fun, wards were just shields... Guildwars had reversal of fortune that was fun, they had one spell that just reduced damage by a lot that was fun. Reverse damage shields can be kind of fun.

It seems like all the healers in the game have the same toolkits with a regen or shield component.... not much variation and not much fun. I guess it's easy to balance, but it really makes things more "bleh". Divine arbitration from EQ was a neat way to handle things in some cases where one person (especially casters were in trouble).

It just seems there is lots of theme and little actual variety amongst the healers. Maybe they will get more creative in the next go around, but right now, it's pretty vanilla. every since AST, I have felt they have backed themselves into a corner with the heal/shield only dicotomy.

And this is my biggest issue with the healing crying or cries, its legit just people who are close minded to the actual state of the game, you see this same thing in league of legends where challenger players cry about balance despite being the top 0.1% of the game and majority of the pb being gold. Then if they smurf they rage that other players are so bad because they do not have the mentality to accept they are the outlier in terms of average level of skill. IF the game was balanced around the super hardcore tryhard raiders it would be impossible for anyone to play due to difficulty.

Pro tip, quit playing League, ever since i done so in 2015 my life been less miserable.

League was never a balanced game to begin with and i'm pretty sure Riot basically admitted they often overtune and undertune champions simply to spice things up and make certain character more popular to sell skins.
This is a PVE game so you're comparing apples with oranges.

I'd just ignore FuzzyMuffin. Every thread I've seen them post in is just a dismissive "stop whining" expanded to a paragraph or longer.
