You misunderstood their lore.

Their lore states that sex of a viera can’t be determined until adulthood, so as a baby they’re allowed to live in Eruyt until they come of age.

We’re not playing baby Viera’s so it’s very evident what our sexes are.

I added a bit more to my reply after posting. I pointed out that that I still agree with you and that certain emotes should stay feminine or masculine depending on the gender you pick. :3

I actually struggle with this, too. Always pretty hard to tell from behind. Especially when their wearing female clothes! xD

It has actually been kinda hard for me to tell them apart, too. lol Especially when it seems like almost all of them are dressed the same.

But as to the topic, I don't have an issue with this, though I doubt the devs would feel that it's worth their time. It should be relatively simple though, in theory.

You’ve just had two people agree with my statement and I know a lot more others would agree. The F&M Viera are too similar.

Despite I always wear my Viera Sandles and have long hair, I had a friend whisper me just today saying she thought I fantasia’d to male viera until she got closer to me.

Because I don’t understand peoples desire to make all races and gender the same in this game.

If you want female cposes, play a female. If you want male cposes, play a male.

The dev’s shouldn’t have to waste their time making this happen. There’s other things that could be changed that improves the quality of life of this game - it’s such a low priority of things that need to be done that it’s not even worth considering.

The lore also indicates that (as per a certain wandering dramaturge) people are under the false impression that only the women are ever seen outside of the wood, which suggests that people struggle to tell them apart.

Also, just because their sex becomes determinable doesn't mean they can't still have a very feminine face. Their body shape is distinct enough.
