Changes Need to be Made to HoH

There is no "right" way to play in a matched party. Duty Finder just throws three warm bodies to you. You playstyle and goals may not align - this is the price for the convenience of just clicking "queue".

Or... You can take your own advice and just make a PF party where you are free to state whatever goal you deem neccessary and get players who are on the same page as you. And boy, floor 21-30 intuitions? There is like nothing in those sacks.

You are right, I could take my advice, but then you would basically say that everything in the game needs to be party findered as you said since there is no "right" way to play in a matched party. We are playing with wording at that point.

Also, the items in the hoard sacks may not be anything to you, but to me they are a way of collecting minions that I haven't gotten from retainers. The thing I'm trying to get across here if you want to play outside the scope of what the dungeon was originally designed for, then you should go to PF.

You are still failing to understand what majority rules means. If the tables had been turned and it was one player speeding the dungeon, and the other three farming chests and hoards; then the responses they would get would be the same you are getting now. There is no one purpose for PotD/HoH. Whatever the majority of the matched party wants goes. And dismissing a player that isn’t fitting into that playstyle is not a punishable act. The GMs won’t do anything to those three players because they did not break any rules.

Exactly. Vote dismiss is a majority vote. The interests of three members of the party stand above the interests of one. You may disagree but this is how it is.

The content was created for whatever the party in there wants it to be. It does not have a singular purpose, and you don’t have an argument here. You are trying to impose what YOU want it to be for onto whatever matched party you end up with, and that’s not how the content works. It’s for whatever that party decides its for. The official page describing what an accursed hoard is =/= stating that this is the purpose of PotD/HoH. Fun fact: intuitions and hoards weren’t even present in PotD at release.

It’s multipurpose, and it always has been. Since PotD was introduced in Patch 3.35—which was over five years ago. HoH is just a copy-paste.

And you are of course the duty police to define what it was created for? If we really think about it, content in MMOs is usually created with the sole goal of making profit by entertaining a player for a fee. Nothing more, nothing less.

Anyway, don't let the door hit you on the way out. But really, consider checking marketboard for those minions you want, they are likely worth peanuts. And check out that "Party Finder". Such an easy solution to save yourself a lot of grief.

In my experience most people won't bother to vote kick people over getting silver chests and accursed hoard, it just depends on how much you're slowing things down.

If you add 3 minutes to each floor that's 27 minutes of wasted time (Not counting the boss floor) and most people don't want to sign up for that
