Nah, if HoH had anything in the chests worth the time or effort, people would go for them. As it stands now, EXP is pretty much the only reason 99% of people are in there, therefore groups will trend towards fastest EXP.
The 31-100 tells you what the dungeon is about, yet there are those that find other uses for these places. I know some dungeons have been used in the past to farm tomestones. All dungeons since the beginning of the game have been used to farm something, be it exp, glam, mounts and tomestones.
Just there are players in these cases of Potd or HoH, that want to be complete jackasses. Forgetting they too had to start somewhere. Kicking a player because they are looking for silvers to boost their aetherpool has become common place. It's what they're use to seeing when it was done to them, so they carry the tradition forward. To hell with helping a fellow adventurer out. It's the "me me me" mentality. HoH is infested with it.
Devs enables this mentality by allowing "vote kicks", in cases such as these, when all you're trying to do is get your upgrades like everyone else. Flashing a policy in this thread doesn't make it right or fair, it is what it is, sorry to say. So people like you (OP) are left out in the cold and all you can do is try and find like minded people in PF or in your FC to lend a helping hand. Don't expect it from random strangers. They are the first to cut your throat and smirk about it.
Not really? I have never ever make a matched party. Do I always get a party that do everything the way I want? No. Do I go on the forum making post to complain or demand change? Never. The point is using DF is accepting the fact you're leaving it up to chance, and most people accept that and move on with whatever they get, sometime thing goes your way sometime it doesn't. If you want to have a guanratee of things ALWAYS go your way, then spend the extra time and effort to create your own party. Can't have a cake and eat it too.
And I have said this a lot of time, but I'll repeat it here. It's a MMO and we play with strangers, and it means one should adapt the live and let's live attitude. If you are someone who believe everything should go exactly the way you want and the group be damn (I don't care what you reason is), than you simply playing the wrong type of game. Sure, all of us have our preference, but more often than not we won't get exactly what we want with random pug. Each day, hundred, thousand if not ten of thousand players not getting their way, but the majority of just move on. I always think it takes a special kind of people to take those instance to complain on the forum and demand change to match their way.
Again, live and let live, that's how your enjoy a MMO.
Just requeue and hope for a better humans next time
Can alwats set up a PF with your wishes and find some like minded people to join you.
Always wished to progress a bit more at PotD and HoH but it is also fairly time consuming and I am not the best at stuff so I can easily see myself end up as a nice floormat somewhere at some point (ko/dead). Which I think for some progress you are not supposed to…?
Anyway main roadblock is timing. In between you need to have breaks may it be for toilet, food, or longer ones for sleep and other life things.
If it was not meant to be an exp grind method then it would not give exp. People farm only select floors as well. You can do HoH solo or with a friend or two and still be efficient. If three people are looking for a quick 10 floors why should one person be able to hold them up?
I have never been kicked while going for chests in HoH or PotD. You're definitely doing something else than that.
Also you get aetherpool by clearing 21-30 so ???
