    Is it normal that the first release of hard content on a new expansion are generally considered easier than say year two of an expansion?
    If anything, things only become easier over time. Squeenix is notoriously known for silently nerfing any Dungeon/Raid content that isn't current Expansion since the dawn of time itself.
    Even running certain Content synced wont make you experience how things were on Day 1, since you simply cant bypass said changes.

    If things are even too difficult on launch (like thundergod in orbonne monastery on day 1) they even apply changes in mere weeks, simply because of the rate of deaths is way higher than average.
