    I'm using Singtel fiber, fixed this by enabling DNS over TLS in the router, and using the servers below.
    8.8.8.8 dns.google
    8.8.4.4 dns.google
    1.1.1.1 cloudflare-dns.com
    1.0.0.1 cloudflare-dns.com

    Tho just for reference, in the end what's the cause of the problem...?

    Same here, I can confirm the launcher works fine now. Thank you SE for the fix! (Or maybe the patch deployment naturally fixed things, I don't know. Big thank regardless xD)

    Would also like to know the cause of the problem for future reference.

    Yeah patch seems to have done it, or something midway of maintenance. I haven't seen the patch notes if it's mentioned there or anything.
